​Bethany Hilliard

Welcome!

 

Bethany is a comedy writer and actress who hails from the Steel City itself: Pittsburgh, PA.

 

While she would like to spend most of her time watching the Steelers and Penguins play, work comes first. She has finished writing two pilots for original sitcoms (excerpts and full copies upon request). She has studied at iOWest for longform improv and is a member of The Ladies Room, an all female sketch show that plays regularly in Los Angeles.

All jokes aside, Bethany is a classically trained actor, spending a summer as an acting apprentice at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey in college. With a love affair with Shakespeare not enough, she studied Meisner Technique for a year and a half at Playhouse West in LA.

 

Bethany can be found on her spare time hiking the picturesque trails around the city of Los Angeles, practicing yoga and attempting to rock a bootcamp class. Don't be intimidated, however, you should see her in down dog. Therein lies the real comedy.
